Tenant Relations
Hey can anyone relate. How can a manager be effective in doing his or her job with difficult clients and get no support from the owner. What should the manager do any advise.
Oh I got ahead of myself. Note: the client is not in compliance with the house rules.

I'm assuming the client is the "tenant" and there not abiding by the house rules..right? I guess I can't relate to ANY owner not supporting your efforts to get this tenant in compliance, but anything's possible in this business.
In that case sounds like a non-involved owner who is becoming a liabilty to you and your company. I would talk with the owner and make them aware of the situation they have put you in, if you get no cooperation I would suggest terminating your managerial responsibilty to this property. Of course this will all depend how your manager/owner contract is spelled out regarding terminating the contract early.

Put yourself in the Owner's shoes, what does the owner care about? Probably money.
If you can show that this tenant is a costing the owner money that could help. Or could cost the owner money in the future (people moving out, etc) it should get the owner's attention.
Again, put yourself in the owners shoes. Hope that helps.
