I read this blog post today by Bill Szczytko:
Property Management System Crisis: Why You Probably Want to Switch ...
Bill has a great way of calling out issues and generating discussion about them. I recommend following his blog.
In this post, he brings up the current issues and gaps in the property management software arena. I thought it might be interesting to hear your take on this.
Let's Talk. What do you think about the current state of property management software?
Share here, or pop over to Bill's blog and post a comment. Thanks Bill for initiating the discussion.

Thanks so much! I would love to hear everyone's opinion on this.
Permalink Reply by Glenn Lehman on October 21, 2012 at 9:02am I was down at the NARPM convention and I think across the board all of the various companies do a great job. That being said I believe there are a few things they could all add that would be of great help to our industry.
1. I would love to see the companies open up call centers to answer owner and or tenant questions on how to read their statements, reset password or find a specific report. I know we all try to pick software solutions based on our own training, but in truth it is really our owners and tenants that need the intuitive simple interface through their portals. (I can drone on about this if anyone like the idea)
2. Expand to include property inspection that can be directly uploaded into the system from a droid or iPhone. This is an under serviced market place.
