- Our company North Shore Welding & Fabrication the only boiler manufacturer in the Chicago land area has been producing its own line of boilers the last 7 years. Attention was a critical role in the unique invention of The Rayes Boilers. We have spent the last 30 years in the boiler repair industry. Our past experience in the industry provided a turnkey concept that led to the development and invention of a new and innovative product.
We are the proud owners of a US patent which is for a super efficient super small all steel boiler with a life expectancy of 80 years. On average, it uses 1/2 the gas compared to other boilers on the market. It has been installed to both give heat in large multi unit buildings and to run productions in an industrial plant application. It can use gas or oil, including crude oil. It has an Energy Star rating of 85%, a coveted rating touted throughout the States. Along with its unique design feature our line of boilers are a green innovation to the boiler industry, due in part to gas consumption and emissions. As an example of emissions (exhaust), a standard boiler releases an average CO emission of 300ppm, our boiler emits 9ppm. Our high efficiency boilers create steam or hot water for any application half the time it takes an ordinary boiler to produce; our same boilers are also compatible for the heating of the domestic hot water system.
Our patented design minimizes the amount of BTU’s, hence minimizes the cost of gas, any installation we go into we run our boilers on half the amount of BTU’s that was running there previously with the old application. We reduce the size of the gas line from a standard 4’’ to 1 ½.” Our boilers are constructed according to ASME section IV standards, the Boiler is shielded with heavy welded steel to ensure continuous airtight conditions necessary for efficient combustion.
