In 1979, I graduated from Dauphin County Technical School with a degree in Chemical Technology.
After High School I joined the Navy and volunteered for submarine duty. Some of my jobs on the sub were to operate the atmosphere control equipment, tend to the air conditioning and refrigeration system, maintain the high pressure air and hydraulic systems. I had the privilege of traveling to Israel, France, Greece, Scotland, and other exciting places like the North Pole. I am frequently ask what is the longest amount of time I have spent under water. Do you care to guess?
During my time in the Navy, I met my lovely wife of 26 years while stationed in New London, Connecticut. We have 4 children ranging in age from 24 to 29. Also we have 1 granddaughter (who is not spoiled regardless of what anyone might tell you!) that is the apple of my eye.
Since leaving the Navy, I have worked as a consultant in the IT industry designing and developing computer software. I recently decided to escape my cubicle, change my life a bit, and enter a more people-oriented business. I enjoy meeting and interacting with people. That, coupled with my interest in the housing market, led to my current career.
