New Law Requires Landlord to Pay Moving Fees

    Have you guys heard abou the new law in Portland that makes landlords pay moving fees if they raise rent more than 10% in a year. This could cost the landlord anywhere from $2,900 - $4,500 per relocation. Here is more info on it http://www.realtor.com/news/trends/new-law-keeps-landlords-from-hiking-rent/. 

    I think this will only make rents get higher by just under 10% every year and wont help the "housing crisis" in Portland at all.
